I'm healing. Grieving the sudden death of my fiance Matthew, a year ago, just one week before our wedding. Together for 7 1/2 years, we didn't need an official document to be "married." He was my soulmate, partner, husband in every sense of the word. Working on a Documentary now called "Young Widow." Sundance here we come. I'm a living, breathing reminder that the worst can actually happen to you...learn from this, please? Shift your perspective, love more and laugh more and have dessert all the time.

I have the best friends and family in the whole wide world. I love my babies, Atlas E. Moe and Pandora Lou. I love our godkids Taylor, Owen and Baby Matthew - they rock my world. I love music, reading, photography (the darkroom, real film people), cooking, my guitar, my saxophone. Living 4 blocks from the beach, my new tattoo, my coffeemaker, netflix, bryan kest's power yoga classes in santa monica.
